The Kiwi Surfboard Logos Collection

Remember those classic surfboards made in New Zealand? Here is a collection of ten logos from some of the most iconic Kiwi surfboard makers.

The ten brands, most dating back to the 60s, are Quane, Atlas Woods, Dunlop, Del, Bob Davie, Rodney Davidson, Ted Davidson, Roger Land, Peter Byers and Peter Way.

Tracking down all the veterans or their relations to collect these images was quite a mission; some have passed away, and others live overseas. The images included original graphics and even designs on rice paper that were glassed onto boards.

We are grateful to all the individuals or families who provided images in support of this project to preserve a small slice of New Zealand’s colourful surfing history.

Note: the print was produced by a graphic artist using ten images.

It is A3 size, 297 x 420mm, printed on quality poster paper.

Frame not included.

 

Delivery can take from 1-3 working days for the north island and 3-5 working days for the south island. Please allow 1-2 additional days for rural delivery.
