What began with a record player in the back of a surf shop, playing Fleetwood Mac on repeat, has grown into one of Tauranga’s most iconic lifestyle brands.

Mount Longboards is known for its surf-inspired apparel and throwback charm. But it’s their standout marketing and brand awareness that’s seeing them make waves far beyond Mount Maunganui.

Mount Longboards is a family owned independent surf brandrun by mother and son Kate and Mat Evaroa, rooted in a passion for surf culture and a commitment to its craftsmanship. From humble beginnings came a passion for creating high quality surf goods and a deep love of design and storytelling – and Mount Longboards was born. 

The business quickly gained traction with its unique and vintage inspired tees.“We’ve always wanted Mount Longboards to have a unique identity that feels special – whether you’re local or visiting.

An online store, paired with its strong branding across social channels, allowed Mount Longboards to reach a global audience, with orders now coming in regularly from the USA, Australia, Europe, and Canada.
